This program was designed by SEM as an alternative to ENERGY STAR & Indoor AirPlus. We laid out the program requirements in an easy to understand one page checklist. It’s the simplest, most impactful, and affordable program available in the Carolina’s to deliver high-performance, healthy homes.
Developed by Home Innovations Research Lab (HIRL), a division of the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB), this comprehensive green building program encompasses 7 aspects of Green Building. There’s an entire chapter completely dedicated to indoor air quality.
