Need an R-10 Attic Pull Down Alternative?
We’re being told by our builder partners and supply houses alike that R-10 attic pull down assemblies are increasingly hard to come by. Both NCECC (R402.2.4) and Energy Star require a minimum of R-10 on all horizontal attic accesses.
If you’re experiencing these material shortages, let us know. Our attic tents are in stock and ready to deploy!
Our tents are double sided, foil laminated foam (1/4″) with a pocket for batt insulation (R-19) for an effective R-value of R-28. It’s fire rated to both ASTME E-84 and NFPA 286.
The attic tents come in 3 sizes:
- M – 22.5″ x 54″ x 10″
- L – 25″ x 54″ x 10″
- XL – 29.5″ x 59″ x 10″
