Elon Musk is changing the way we think about powering our homes as he continues to produce incredible ways to harness energy more efficiently. This article highlights how the solar system of this home – installed by yours truly at Southern Energy Management – is more effective because the house is built above code standards to be more efficient.
This is where the Powerwall comes in. Musk’s creation captures electricity generated by solar panels and stores it for a rainy day.
The Powerall has been such a hit for this home in Wendell Falls that almost all of their energy needs are being generated and stored. This is an increase in capacity from 60-80% of energy needs that solar power alone traditionally produced.
