Historic Wilkesboro School

This 40 unit LIHTC project combined new construction and adaptive reuse of a historic school building to achieve Energy Star Certification. SEM’s experience and expertise with both new and existing construction was valuable in assisting the general contractor to comply with necessary program standards in the most cost effective and expedient means possible. On site meetings and inspections prior to and throughout construction assured the project met all program requirements without any unnecessary delays in construction.
