TBJ’s 2012 Clean & Green Finalists Unveiled

SEM joins 19 other organizations and four individuals who are “leading the charge in sustainable success.”

Triangle Business Journal on Thursday announced the finalists of its 2012 Clean & Green Awards.

The awards recognize a total of 20 organizations and four individuals who have embraced green efforts and successfully incorporated sustainable practices into their businesses and communities.

“These finalists are striving to make protection of the environment a standard practice and are helping Triangle leaders recognize the benefits that improve the bottom line,” says Triangle Business Journal Publisher Bryan Hamilton. “They are leading the charge in sustainable success.”

The winners from this list of finalists will be recognized at an expo and awards presentation from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sept. 13 at the Embassy Suites hotel in Cary.

Also, the local chapter of the U.S. Green Building Council will present its “Chapter Volunteer of the Year” and “Public Official of the Year” award at the event.
