SEM recently finished installing a 45-collector system at the Bryan Center on Duke’s campus for Holocene.
Duke University in Durham, NC has recently stepped up its commitment to renewable energy by commissioning a solar thermal system on the roof of the Bryan Center. This system is comprised of 45 solar thermal collectors manufactured by AET and a 2000 gallon Fluid Handling System manufactured by Holocene Technologies. According to my F-chart calculations, the system will produce up to one-third of the facility’s annual hot water.
We’d like to thank our friends at Southern Energy Management for their work in installing this project. Financing for this installation was provided by Holocene Development.
