GREENSBORO – A forum focused on North Carolina’s solar-energy regulations will be held from 4 to 7:45 p.m. June 27 at Proximity Hotel, 704 Green Valley Road in Greensboro.
The free forum is one of several being held statewide as part of the process of developing a template solar ordinance for permitting solar-energy facilities. The event will feature two panel discussions, one as a general discussion with st akeholders and the other as a solar industry panel. The forum will include a presentation by Bob Kingery, president and co-founder of Southern Energy Management, on the issues surrounding smaller-scale solar energy permitting.
