Is Duke Energy’s PowerPairSM Incentive Program still available for North Carolinians? It depends! Program capacity depends on which Duke Energy territory your home is in.
Duke Energy Carolinas PowerPair Status
As of June 4th 2026, if you are a Duke Energy Carolinas (DEC) customer there is capacity remaining in the PowerPair program for under the Choice (TOU) option. We anticipate another month of availability based on current application rates. Paired with Tesla’s Powerwall rebate, homes can receive up to $10,000 in solar and battery incentives. The Powerwall Rebate closes June 30th, so if you want up to $1000 in additional battery savings, make sure to reach out and let us know.
Duke Energy Progress PowerPair Status
As of November 7, 2025, PowerPair incentive applications will no longer be accepted for the Duke Energy Progress (DEP) territory as all capacity has been allocated. Any applications received prior to Nov 7th will be placed on a waiting list in the event of any projects with reservations not moving forward.
If you are a DEP customer, don’t fret! You are still eligible to enroll in Duke Energy’s Battery Control incentive. This incentive offers a monthly bill credit worth up to $91 per month. Learn more here!
